Car Insurance Suzuki (Car Insurance). Can i put a tube in a tubeless tire?

Can i put a tube in a tubeless tire? i got some bridgestone hoops for my crf50 and one of the tires is a tubeless. does this mean i can't put a tube in it? my rim isn't made for tubeless so i need a tube. should i return it and get a tubeless? i also wanted to know if tubeless tires are any different (ex. thicker, less flexible, etc...) its a small 3.00/10" tire

I put tubes in tires occasionslly there should be no problem, the bead is stiffer and made to seal better but it works either way, just buy the right sized tube and go from there, be careful not to pinch the tube, or get the valve stem in sideways, other than that you should have no problem yes you can put a tube in a tubeless tire I have done it many times as a fix for a flat tire. You can put tubes in tubeless tires. All those cruiser style bikes with spoked rims run tubes (with a few exceptions). You have nothing to worry about especially on a CRF50. Yes you can. The only thing is that tubeless tires with a tube in it doesn't disapate heat as well as it should. This is only an issue on larger bikes where you are pushing the top speed rating of the tire. Yes you can put a tube in it.If you put some air in the tube it will make it easier to install without pinching it and putting a hole in it.Just enough air to round it out. They are less flexible (stiffer bead).

Can you help me improve my gas mileage? I inherited a 2001 Toyota Camry LE with less than? 50K miles on it. I love the car, it looks and runs great but it gets a disappointing 20mpg. (I contacted Toyota directly and they said it should get between 23-30mpg, even 10 years old - but they only told me stuff like keep the tires inflated properly and drive it 'correctly' etc., they gave me no 'mechanical' suggestions to try like putting in a new set of spark plugs etc. What kind of tuneup type stuff can I try to improve the gas mileage like changing the air filter (which looks like new to me) or spark plugs etc. Thanks for your help! car insurance.

Suzuki . 1987 Nissan Pathfinder - Strange electrical problem?

1987 Nissan Pathfinder - Strange electrical problem? Symptoms: Left headlight does not work. Parking lights are on, even when the switch for them is off - but they are very dim. They get brighter when it's actually turned on. Vehicle stalls when parking lights or headlights are turned on. Troubleshooting So Far: Searched for a short - none found. Checked fuses - all good. Replaced alternator. Unplugged both headlights - no change. Plugged them both back in and jiggled and wiggled all of the wiring harnesses and bundles - but the left headlight didn't come on at all. Opened around the steering wheel to check for damage to any of the wires from the switches into the dash. Assumptions: The parking lights should only come on when the switch for them is on. Power is bleeding into the parking lights power. This power source is a short. This short is also causing the left headlight not to work. Tracing (somehow) from the switch to the headlight might turn-up a short. Plans for tomorrow: Too dark now... Trace where the power goes to the parking lights - try to find the common junction. Pull apart the wire bundle to inspect each wire. Check the power at the positive battery terminal (there is a two-part wiring harness attached to it right at the terminal.) = = = = = = = = Any other suggestions? car insurance.

Suzuki . How do I Replace Aluminum Truck Topper Windows?

One of the primary functions of a truck topper window is to add more security for your materials. Broken windows, however, make this security void. So from time to time, truck topper windows need to be replaced. Whether the window is aluminum or another metal does not matter; the process is the same. With the help of a neighbor or friend and the use of a ratchet and socket; you can very easily replace your own truck's topper windows.
Difficulty:Moderate
Instructions Things You'll Need
Protective glasses
3/8-inch ratchet and socket set

Step by Step :
1
Put on your protective gear. Open the window topper and drop the tailgate. Crawl into the truck's bed to position yourself facing toward the window that needs replacement.
2
Use a 3/8-inch ratchet and socket to loosen the bolts holding the window to the topper. Have someone help you by holding onto the window as you are loosening it. This will avoid any accidental dropping of this window piece. Have your assistant placed on the opposite side that you are facing.
3
Set the replacement window in place on the topper. Use your ratchet and socket to bolt this piece into place. Have the same person as before help you by holding the replacement window into place until you have secured the bolts.

Suzuki . How to Replace the Driver Door Window on a 1998 Chevy Silverado

Replacing your 1998 Chevrolet Silverado's driver side door window is a long and difficult task. Not only do you have to remove the interior door panel to gain access to the window, but you must proceed with caution so as to not break the glass in the process. If the old window was broken, then you need to be careful as there will be glass shards inside the door. In addition, you will need a special regulator tool to remove the window regulator handle. This tool can be purchased from your local Chevrolet dealership or online. You can expect the procedure to take you up to two hours.
Difficulty:Challenging
Instructions Things You'll Need
Wrench
Slotted screwdriver
Regulator tool
Phillips screwdriver

Step by Step :
1
Lower the window as far as it will go. Turn the Silverado's engine off and open the hood. Use a wrench to remove the negative ground cable off the battery. Open the driver's side door.
2
Insert a slotted screwdriver in between the door handle and the door. Pry outwards to remove the door handle. Snap off the plastic retaining tabs and disconnect the electrical connection. Remove the door handle.
3
Use the J 9886-01 regulator tool to remove the window regulator handle. Place the tool between the handle and the bearing plate and push down on the tool to remove the handle's retaining clip. Remove the handle.
4
Pry off the speaker cover from the door with a slotted screwdriver. Pry the door accessory mounting from the door panel. It will come off easily.
5
Remove the screw holding the armrest in place with a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the armrest.
6
Remove the door panel from the door using a slotted screwdriver to slowly pry it out. Disconnect all three electrical connections.
7
Remove the vent window assembly by removing the bolt and two screws securing it to the door. Slide the window along the front roller until it lines up with the retaining notch on the door. Remove the roller. Pull the window out of the door.
8
Install the new window into the notch on the door and reinstall the front roller. Reattach the vent window assembly and reinstall its bolt and two screws.
9
Reattach the electrical connections to the door panel and reinstall the door panel. Place the armrest back onto the door panel and secure it with the retaining screw.

have the stamina to endure these challenges. What's the weather like in your area? Today, front-wheel drive vehicles with high-tech all-season tires get better traction than the old snow tires, which you had to replace when warm weather set in. However, if you drive under .Chapter 19: Checking Your Tires, Alignment, and Steering extreme conditions, you may want to check out tires designed for them: If it rains a lot, look for rain tires with super-wide grooves in the treads. For places with lots of snow or icy hills, look for "M+S" (mud and snow) on the sidewall. Do you drive mostly in local stop-and-go traffic, with many turns? Softer tires with wider treads will suit you best. How long do you intend to keep your car? Putting a pair of expensive tires on a vehicle that you intend to get rid of in 10,000 or 20,000 miles is foolish. Oh, it's possible to put well over 100,000 miles on a vehicle — especially if you maintain it properly — but if you have a relatively old vehicle with many miles on it already, and you don't intend to keep it very long, I wouldn't buy a pair of expensive mega-mile tires for it. Your car may surprise you and outlive its tires, but chances are that it won't. Similarly, it's foolish to put high-performance tires on a vehicle that will be driven mostly at normal speeds in city and highway traffic. On the other hand, if you intend to keep your vehicle for a few years, you'll save money in the long run by opting for more expensive, longer-lasting tires than "cheapos" or tires rated for less than 40,000 miles. Cheap tires wear out more quickly and cost more in the long run if you figure in the cost of buying, mounting, and balancing that second set. What's more, if you suffer a blowout or your tires fail to grip the road, you'll pay a great deal more if your vehicle — or you — is injured. If you drive only a couple of thousand miles a year, don't expect a pair of 40,000-mile radials to last forever. Rubber treads tend to rot eventually because of the ozone in the air, which causes cracks and hard spots in the sidewalls — a condition called ozone checking. For this reason, if you've used your tires for more than 40,000 miles, even if the treads are in good shape, have the tires checked to make sure that deteriorating rubber hasn't made them prone to blowouts and leaks. In addition to knowing which kind of tire is best for your car and understanding the tire codes (explained in the section called "The Secrets on Your Sidewalls, Revealed!"), keep the following tips in mind when you shop for tires: V You can find the proper tire size for your car in the owner's manual or on a sticker affixed to the vehicle. If neither exists, ask your dealer. 893 Car Insurance ford contour 1996 199436

v* Although you should never buy tires that are smaller than those specified for your vehicle, you can buy tires a size or two larger (if the car's wheel clearance allows it) for better handling or load-carrying ability. However, you should buy these larger tires in pairs and place them on the same axle. Ask your mechanic or a reputable tire or auto dealer for advice about the proper size range for your vehicle. For more advice, see "Tips for Buying Tires," later in this chapter. Part III: Keeping Your Car in Good Condition, System by System 406 V Never use two different-sized tires on the same axle. V* If you're replacing just one or two tires, put the new ones on the front for better cornering control and braking (because weight transfers to the front tires when you brake). C" If you still have bias-ply or bias-belted tires on your car, you must replace all of them at the same time with radials when they wear out. You can't mix different kinds of tires on the same vehicle; you should have the same type on all four wheels. The ride is so different that radial tires would throw your car out of alignment if you tried them in combination with the old-style tires. u* Remember that you have to "break in" new tires, so don't drive faster than 60 mph for the first 50 miles on a new tire or spare. v0 Store tires that you aren't using in the dark, away from extreme heat and electric motors that create ozone. Retreads: Bargains or blowouts? Millions of tires are discarded every year, and tires that had disintegrated on the road. But an entire industry has developed to put them today, advances in retreading have raised their back on the road by replacing the worn tread quality, and the industry's Tire Retread areas with new ones. The retreading process Information Bureau claims that retreads have involves grinding the tread off an otherwise the same 3 percent failure rate as new tires. So sound old tire and winding a strand of uncured if you're interested in recycling, you may be rubber around the tire. Checking tire inflation pressure The single most important factor in caring for your tires is maintaining the correct inflation pressure. You should check your tires at least once a month and before every long trip to see that they're properly inflated. make the vehicle harder to handle. Overinflated tires can blow out more easily, wear out faster, and make the vehicle unstable and unsafe to handle. The section "Checking your tires for wear," later in this chapter, can help you check for signs of these problems and tells you what to do about them. Check tire pressure in the morning before you use the car or when you've driven it less than a mile. If you drive more than that, your tires will heat up and the air will expand, so you won't get an accurate reading. In hot weather, the pressure in your tires rises as the air in them heats up and expands, which can result in overinflation. Conversely, in cold weather, the pressure falls as the cold air contracts and your tires can end up underinflated. As you'll see in the section called "Checking your tires for wear," these conditions can cause your tires to wear unevenly and wear out prematurely. \\V 4t ^ tn e weather gets very cold, it looks as though it will stay that way for some ~"~"~ time, and you get a low reading, you may want to add a bit of air to your tires to bring the pressure back up. Generally, though, tires that are correctly inflated tend to wear properly in spite of minor weather ups and downs. Just
